Energy conference

At the CNRS Energy conference, researcher and PEPR member Virginie Nachbaur (University of Rouen – Normandy) presented the New Energy Technologies (NTE) axis of the program, which she co-leads with Etienne Bouyer (CEA).

The CNRS Energy conference is an annual event that highlights current scientific research on the topics of energy and the energy transition. This event, organized by the CNRS Energy Unit, took place on Monday, March 10 and brought together nearly 200 participants from academic, industrial, and political circles.

A chemist in the Materials Physics Group (GPM – CNRS, Rouen), Virginie Nachbaur gave a presentation on the subject: “Recyclability and reuse of materials for new energy technologies: permanent magnets, fuel cells and photovoltaic panels.”

The video recording of the conference, as well as the presentation materials of the participants, are available on the CNRS Energy Cell website at the following link: Review of the CNRS Energy Conference 2025 – CNRS Energy Cell

Within the PEPR, Virginie co-leads the PEPR’s NTE axis, which aims to enhance the value of materials contained in the components of new energy technologies. Three technologies are addressed:
